Welcome to The Gathering Place, a non-profit center for loss and life transition. We are a TrinityCare Hospice program that is funded in part by Beach Cities Health District and donations from individuals, organizations and foundations. The mission of The Gathering Place is to encourage healing, health, strength and confidence in those who have experienced the death of a loved one. We offer a variety of services, including support groups that specialize in bereavement services for adults, teens and children. You can find us at:

Grief Information
Helping Our Other Services Drop-In Center: We provide short-term bereavement counseling, educational materials (such as books, brochures, handouts and videos) and referrals. Please visit the center at any time during our business hours. Counseling: We provide short-term bereavement crisis support and grief counseling. For clients needing longer-term intervention, we assist with linkages to longer-term resources. Outreach, Education, Training, Seminars: We provide grief support and education for teachers and classrooms, instruction on surviving holidays and other important days and special topic seminars.
